The 2nd meeting and discussion day on the theme of bio-based materials and bio-construction organised by the SAVASCO project will take place on Friday 1 April in Sant Cugat del Vallès at the ETSAV (Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura del Vallès).
For this second edition, on the other side of the Pyrenees, the project team of the UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya), beneficiary partner of the project, is proposing a morning dedicated to the presentation of the SAVASCO project and its progress, followed by moments of discussion and debate on eco-construction and particularly on the bio-sourced material sectors. The aim of the day is to bring together local actors in these sectors and to formulate ideas and discuss development paths for the future sector of valorisation of maize and sunflower stalks for construction, in particular via the creation of a network of actors. This day will also be the occasion to celebrate the beginning of the construction of the Spanish prototype SAVASCO.
