A Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study is being conducted at the sector and construction product level. This study aims to analyze the environmental, economic and social impact of the sector and materials. The first activities consisted of organizing data collection, an essential phase of the LCA. This data collection, carried out at the different levels of the value chain, as close as possible to the reality of the experimental phases of the project, was possible thanks to the close collaboration with the consortium partners.
This made possible to make a basic inventory of the different processes of the system defined for the two levels of study. The next task of the action is to continue collecting data in order to analyze the different impacts throughout the life cycle. The aim is to facilitate the orientation of the structuring of the sector when creating and developing it.
